Wheel Cross
Wood, Steel, Rubber Bicycle Tire, Strap, Hardware, 1994. How do we each carry our burdens? I was inspired to make this piece after I met a man at Florida State University who had dragged a cross all the way from Maine. He had drug it so far that the cross actually had turned into a plus sign. The scale of this cross is such that one would have to be at least 7ft tall for the strap and wheel to actually function.
