Steel, Stoneware Dinner Plates, Electric Motor, 1994. During a performance, plates are released mechanically from a horizontal stack. Plates very slowly travel down a ramp and are violently broken into small pieces. Very noisy and scary. Addresses concepts of memory and learning.
