Telegraph Poles, Copper Wire, Insulators, Books, VCR, Disassembled Video Monitor, 1997. Video Image from Martin Luther Kings I have a Dream Speech was speed up and compressed so that the entire speech lasts 15 seconds. Image was transmitted across the room and displayed on deconstructed monitor. The compressed audio played on the opposite end of the room, coming out of the speaker of the broken television set.
