This machine “paints” paintings by firing paint balls at canvas panels. Interaction of the viewer with the piece determines when and how long the “paint gun” fires. This piece was heavily influenced by Jean Tinguely and his ideas about recycling technology.
 
I was really interested if I could create an decent abstract painting using a machine. I am particularly interested in the abstract painting movement in Texas and how much these paintings emulate what I have seen.
